Homer Jay Simpson (voiced by Dan Castellaneta) is one of the main characters in the animated television series The Simpsons. As the father of the Simpson family, Homer is overweight, lazy, gluttonous, and none too bright, and his behaviour is often (but not always) oafish, clumsy, and insensitive, but he still remains lovable. Over the years he has become one of the notable dads in television.
